Oracle has announced new artificial intelligence (AI) features in its cloud applications suite and an expansion of regions for Oracle Database@Azure in partnership with Microsoft. The new generative AI capabilities in the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite aim to improve decision-making and enhance the employee and customer experience. These features, integrated into Oracle’s SaaS applications, support over 50 AI use cases while respecting enterprise data privacy and security.
Cloud products and services, including these new AI features, are a significant revenue driver for Oracle, accounting for 83% of the company’s total revenue in the last quarter.
Oracle Database@Azure is now available in Frankfurt, Germany, and will expand to several other regions to meet customer demand. Oracle’s stock price remained relatively unchanged following the announcement.
